INCREDIBLE! D'Banj romance Florence Ita Giwa

A very guarded romance is on. And it revolves around two interesting personalities- popular entertainer widely known as D Banj, Dapo Oyebanji and celebrated politician,Florence Ita Giwa.

The duo are said to be engulfed in a very discreet but passionate affair at present.

Information made available to www.societynowng.com revealed that the affair has been on for some time now.

Informants revealed that the need for secrecy is more about the need for the musician to maintain the image of a successful young man every lady want to take home to mama- the bedrock of his public appeal.

Analysed a source, ‘Ita Giwa is known for keeping younger guys and lavishing expensive gifts on them. More of a Sugar Mummy having young men as plaything kind of affair. And D’Banj and the Mo’Hit crew have heavily invested on creating the image of a youngman every lady desire with all material things at his beck and call for the musician. So you see, unlike the Genevieve affair that he leveraged on male dominance to shore up that particular image, publicly associating with Ita Giwa in a submissive role of sex for material thing will make nonsense of the musician’s reputation and Mo Hits investment on him. Simply put, it decorates him with the cloak of a kept lover’.

Informants claimed that just like she allegedly did with Actors Chidi Mokeme and Jim Iyke, the former senator initiated the romance- but D’Banj, with the backing of Don Jazzy (the musician doesn’t make a move without his blessing) changed the script.

DBanj, MoHits

D’Banj opted for a secret affair and the celebrated politician agreed.

Sources claimed that in order to cover their tracks very well- the Mo hits crew fuelled the media celebration of D’Banj’s romance withactress Genevieve Nnaji.

According to investigations conducted bywww.societynowng.com the romance with Genevieve was nothing more than a business affair turned fling.

Divulged the insider ‘Genevieve was actually contracted to feature in Dbanj’s song for a fee. The transaction later resulted in a fling. It was this period that the Ita Giwa romance sparked off. So, what Dbanj and his team did was to continue antics that fuelled the media romance as a cover up for the real loving with Ita Giwa’

While on her part- Ita Giwa has continued to enjoy the loving of yet another celebrated artiste very discreetly- D’banj and by extension the Mo’Hit crew are said not to be doing badly in the deal as well.

The money spinning deal that saw D’banj a part of President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign team is said to the handiwork of Senator Ita Giwa.

Aside this, sources claimed that the Mo’Hit crew are currently tapping into the clout of the extensively connected politician set-up-this-and-that private deal.

A clinical follower of the unfolding romance is of the opinion that Senator Ita Giwa’s long known penchant for publicly parading her ‘Toy’ men might disrupt the secret arrangement in the nearest future. The question is how soon?

Breast sucking prevents breast cancer.

"Doctors recommend that women reduce the risk of getting breast cancer by having their breasts sucked. It is said that regular sucking of the breast lowers the risk level that tends to build up breast cancer. The breast must be sucked as often as possible, help women fight breast cancer today. Men, please do your part, and suck a breast now and women please let your body free!
This message is from the Ministry of Health in the Fight Against Breast Cancer."
"A BBC report suggesting that breast sucking by men and women can reduce the risk of developing breast cancer for both sexes is generating mixed reactions from the public. The report published by the BBC indicates that breast sucking has the tendency of reducing the incidence of breast cancer in men and women who engage in the practice. Most men find pleasure in sucking women's nipples and in some cases; women also suck men's nipples during love making."
Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosis among black women, and among women nationwide. Studies have shown that when black women follow the same preventive measures as white women, their death rates from breast cancer are very similar. Although black women are less likely than whites to develop breast cancer, they are more likely to die from it, doctors have long known. Black women also are diagnosed at younger ages and at later stages of disease.
It is said that thousands of women might be spared the agony of breast cancer if they extended the period for which they suckle their babies. A study was carried out by a group of researchers in the UK. Although it indicated a relationship between breastfeeding and a lower risk of cancer, more research is necessary to clearly establish a causal link.
Breastfeeding (baby) and Breastsucking (men) are two different things.
According to James Klosky (UK researcher): Breastfeeding, in addition to diet and exercise, avoiding tobacco use, and engaging in safe sexual behaviour, is one more behaviour that can potentially ameliorate adverse late effects of cancer treatment”
Breastfeeding has been found to provide a measure of protection against uterine, cervical and ovarian cancers as well as breast cancer. A study by Yale University researchers showed that women who breastfed for two years or longer reduced their risk of breast cancer by 50 percent.
Should I suck her breast to help her reduce the risk?
Breastfeeding is what's been shown to reduce the risk of breast cancer. The researchers compared the rate at which women breastfeed babies back in the days to present days; the rate has reduced over the years. Women are encouraged to breastfeed their babies longer now because it's good for the baby's health and good for them (woman). We have not seen any report that shows that you will help your wife/girl reduce the risk by sucking her breast.
If studies show that breast sucking (by men or babies) would reduce the risk, the man who is doing the sucking will not be at any risk. His chances of getting cancer will not increase just because he is sucking the woman's breast.

KANYE WEST SIGNS D’BANJ AND DON JAZZY TO G.O.O.D MUSIC, RECORDS SCAPEGOAT REMIX WIT KANYE WEST

American multiple awards winning artist and producer, Kanye West has today finalized his interest to sign one of Nigeria’s biggest hip-hop artistes, Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’Banj & Don Jazzy to his Good Music Entertainment, a production, management and record label outfit. “GOOD” is an acronym for “Getting Out Our Dreams”.
D’banj seems to be a big time player when it comes to pulling stunts in the music industry. First of all, it was a remix of his hit song ‘Mr Endowed’ with US rapper Snoop Dogg with an incredible video to back up it’s authenticity, which was followed by a tweet from one of the most popular rappers in recent times Kanye West saying D’Banj and Don Jazzy should come over to New York. The celebrated entertainer then appeared on the BET ‘Welcome to America’ show where he revealed his intentions to work with US acts especially Kanye.

In the early hours of Thursday, June 9, 2011 Dbanj who was nominated in the Best International Act category of the forthcoming BET Awards took to his twitter account to an

nounce that he had be signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D Musiclabel.

Just like yesterday myself and my brother did Tongolo. 7yrs later Mo’Hits signs with Good Music. Best birthday gift ever. God thank u‘, D’banj’s tweet reads.

It has now been confirmed that the move is indeed true. But the news gets even bigger as our reporters have confirmed that G.O.O.D music has signed the entire Mo’Hits camp unto the label. The signing took place in the US on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 which happens to be Kanye’s birthda

y. Hit producer Don Jazzy and D’banj attended Mr West’s gig and even got the Chicago born rapper an expensive wristwatch.

Just a few hours ago, Don Jazzy put a picture of Jay Z, Kanye and himself on twitter and gave a vote of thanks to his wellwishers.

A remix of D’banj’s ‘Scapegoat‘ has already been recorded with Kanye west taking a verse on it.

Kanye West emerged in the music scene first as a record producer for popular acts like Jay Z before going on to release his ‘College Dropout’ LP back in 2004. The success of the album led to him to start off his own management and production company called G.O.O.D Music. Teh Grammy Award winning rapper has gone on to sign acts like John legend, rapper Common, Kid Cudi and Mos Def.

A source close to Kanye’s camp assures us the G.O.O.D MUSIC deal will see Mohits producer Don Jazzy working with G.O.O.D music talents, including Dbanj who is believed to have a one-album deal with the label.

PRESIDENT GOODLUCK HOSTS NIGERIAN YOUTHS

As announced a few days ago, President Goodluck Jonathan had invited hundreds of young Nigerians, drawn from different industries, to a ‘private’ lunch with him at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was a Pre-Inauguration Youth Lunch with the President to discuss on a lighter mood, the future of the youths in the country.

The guest list, which was strictly by invitation, was made up of young reporters, youth activists, bloggers, young entrepreneurs, Nollywood actors, designers, record label execs, etc. E-mails and SMS had circulated days before, inviting young Nigerians to the lunch.

So on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, Eko Hotels and Suites was swamped with popular young faces as they all lined up to get accredited to gain access to the hall where the lunch would take place. And as usual, the process was disorganized, as the officials had not idea of how to handle the mammoth crowd.

After much hullabaloo, the officials decided to call out the names on the ID tags, the bearers would then step up, claim their tags and fall into the hall. This took up to an hour.

Once in the hall, everything settled as guests took their seats and the President walked in heavily guarded. The National Anthem was sung and the host of the day, Rhythm 93.7 on-air-personality, Nanya went straight to the proceedings of the day. Nanya went on a small journey into the past highlighting the many positions that have been occupied by the youths, from Yakubu Gowon becoming the Head Of State 32 to other respected Nigerians who at a young age had accomplished feats in their careers. Amongst the many things he highlighted about President Goodluck, was that the President’s Facebook fan page was the second most popular for a President, after US president Barrack Obama’s.

Another interesting fact was highlighted – apparently, there is a rock band based in the UK called Goodluck Jonathan. Nanya also made this known to the public; their posters were spread out on the stage too. A musical video was put up on the large screen for all to watch.

Senior Special Assistant to The President on Strategy, Oronto Douglas then welcomed and thanked everyone for coming through. He then called on popular youth activist Amara Nwankpa to moderate the ‘Issues and Voices’ session.

First, to speak was the president of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ajani Olawale James who congratulated the President on his victory at the April polls. He also said he believed the President would never betray the youths. He advocated for the Minister of Youth Development to be a young individual. The crowd roared in agreement.

Rita Dominic stepped up to the podium to deliver an unconvincing speech; (honestly, people were more interested in what she wore rather than what she was about to say). She said she was happy that the country finally had a man that would listen to the youths and identify with their aspirations. She also requested that the resources of the country be made available to the youths.

Chocolate City C.E.O Audu Maikori took to the podium to talk about Electricity and Employment. He asked the audience which they would prefer – power or job opportunities. The former is what most chose. He said that nobody knows the importance of electricity more than the youths. How much had they involved the youths? Once the issue of electricity was solved, all other problems would be solved. On employment, he stated that there were no job environments.

Youth Activist Chude Jideonwo talked about the National Youth Service Corps and Corruption. He highlighted that many lives had been lost through the Youth Service program and that Nigeria needed a sharp break from the past and focus on restructuring the system.

A short break was observed for guests to have lunch while R&B singer Timi Dakolo took the stage to deliver his popular songs.

After a short while, TY Bello took to the stage to along with AMEMUSO choir to perform her ‘The Future’ song.

The Minister for Youth and Development, Senator Akinlabi Olasunkanmi came up to thank the youths and also assured them that ‘Youth Issues’ would be tackled in the 36 states of the country.

President Goodluck then came up to address issues and answer a few questions; He thanked the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party and other Senior dignitaries for attending the event. He stated that it was not a ‘Goodluck Jonathan’ or PDP meeting but for the youths. He let all the crowd know that the election showed the beginning of unity and change and after May 29, 2011, he would engage interactive sessions with business execs and the youth. The crowed cheered.

He challenged those who were present at the forum that they were also responsible for a robust economic growth. Amongst other things, he also stated that the Nigerian Defence Academy would open doors for the young Nigerian females to join the troops; as not only auxiliary but also that, it would not be a bad idea if we had fighter jets flown by women.

He also pointed out the economy had to make way for small-scale businesses to rise. Speaking about the Minister of Youth and Development he said ‘The minister is paramount about the youths, even though he is old’. Everybody including Goodluck shared a good laugh.

On the NYSC situation, the president insisted that it would not be scrapped explaining that solving any situation was in the pipeline. ‘You cannot scrap the NYSC, it’s a program that is helpful to the Nigerian youth. It exposes us to different cultures.’ Mr. President explained.

We have a listening president and we hope he will not betray us. He has given so many promises during the time of elections so this is the time of dividends. We are asking him not to forget all his promises and do according to all he has said while campaigning because it’s obvious the Nigerian youth voted for him irrespective of our affiliation‘ – NYCN president, Ajani Olawale James tells Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET).

This is the first time I’m performing in front of the president, I had a great time, a bit nervous but I enjoyed myself. I can’t predict the outcome of this forum but I hope I was able to inspire with what I did. For me, I think the Nigerian youths know what they want, we’ve made our voices known and it’s important that the government would at least listen to us. It’s a good beginning, I don’t think we should downplay it‘ – TY Bello.

I was told about two weeks ago that the president would like hear out the youths and that I was also to speak on a topic. I thought it was a good idea and chose to make it a date, after all it’s not every day you get to talk in front of the president. I found it easy speaking and driving home my point because I wasn’t talking to the president alone. I was talking to Nigerians. The outcome of the forum will be positive only if we drive it. Even the best intentions get lost in circumstances, however if we continue to push and push, I’m sure we’ll have a change‘ – Audu Maikori

‘I believe that Goodluck will deliver just like he said. We voted for him for a reason, there will be a positive outcome of this forum. I have been strongly behind the Goodluck team because I feel it’s just destiny being fulfilled. His just the right person we need up there‘ – Ini Edo

Cohbams finally weds

Well, we can now confirm, that the celebrated visually-impaired producer and his fiancee tied the knots on Thursday, 2nd of Dec. 2010. The quiet wedding held at ‘Jesus is Coming Soon’ Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of Gid, inside the Redemption camp along Lagos-Ibadan expressway. A source tells us ‘Cobhams really wanted it simple and quiet; not a showbiz wedding’. That explains why a lot of his colleagues who spoke with NET early today are surprised; saying they were not aware he was getting married today – even though some admit he ‘mentioned it’ sometime back.

Casey Wins Glo Naija Sings

After 8 weeks of stiff competition amongst 10 contestants, Casey has been announced the winner of the second season of Glo Naija Sings. On Friday, December 3, 2010 Casey was announced the winner of the Glo Naija Sings at the grand finale at the MNET Studios in Lagos; beating the other two finalists Rasine and Da brodas to the $100,000 (N15m) grand prize and a Toyota Rav 4. Overwhelmed by excitement and disbelief, Casey fell flat to the ground as host Olisa Odibua pronounced him the winner while the disappointed Rasine and Da Brodas chickened out of the stage for the latest champion. ‘For me that I got to this top 3, I had won in many stages prior to this time; I had competed against myself; I got out of my comfort zone by performing songs by Fela with my R ‘n’B style; I had to conquer that phobia. Right now the competition is not over; I’m entering the industry so I’ve got more competition again. Everyone is expecting a successful musical career from me, something new; no one is expecting crap and that’s the task I have to live up to because I’m not going to make music for myself’, the diploma holder tells NET. Casey whose new feat has just conferred on him an automatic Globacom ambassadorial position, has already outlined plans on where to channel the whooping sum his vocal dexterity and fortune have brought his way. ‘I intend to invest with the money and get back to school and take care of my family. I want to learn something in a music school. I just don’t want to win this money and disappear into thin air. I want to do something big in music that’s why I have a competition, challenge and serious work to do. I have to step up, from my packaging to the kind of music people want’, he added. The resident judge Tosin Martins led all the contestants including the evicted ones on stage in an opening performance that left the studio audience screaming and applauding at intervals. While anticipations were high as to who will be crowned the winner, Psquare was brought on stage to cool the tension which was visibly uncontrollable – Casey teaming up with Bez to perform Zuchidaya, Rasine teaming up with Tiwa Savage to perform Kele Kele Love while Da brodas’ collaboration with Wizkid for Holla at your boy soon made many forget that two of the contestants would be shown the way out for an eventual winner. However, Telecommunication giant Globacom has promised that all other evicted contestants will be taken on tour through different cities across the country and will be duly compensated. ‘We’ll ensure we support all other contestants and will be hosting them on our several tour across the country including the Rock and Roll Glo Show’, Globacom Executive Director(HR), Mr. Adewale Sangowawa assured.
