Born Akinyemi Oluwashina-Ayomi into the family of Deacon and Deaconess Johnson Akindipe in the 80s and first of two boys. Knyght has shown traits of music since he was a kid and hanghing out with his late maternal grand father who was a local drums maker was of great influence.
Knyght has spent all his life in the choir doing vocals and then moving finaly to playing percussions since 1998. In the secondary school, he formed a group (RnB) called X-Men and the group made fame in Ikorodu while they lasted together. Though the group broke up even before they could make it to the stidio, they remain best of friends till date.
Since 2005, Knyght has been profesionaly involved in music. When pressure mounted he returned to school and got schooled as a Mass Communicator. After school, Knyght has been pressurized by old fans to return to stiudios but he decided to work a little as a journalist, Writer, Voice-Over artiste. However, over time he was known for his supernatural graphic designer skills which makes him a favourite for advert agents, media houses etc. soon he ventured into publishing and that made sense for him. In 2010, his passion for music drove him back to studio and then single 'IBADI ARAN' was borne. So far the acceptance is massive and his friends in the communication world are giving him massive support, not just because he is a good friend but majorly because he is super talented and his music is off the chain.
Akinyemi Johnson hails from Ile-Oluji in Ondo State, born in Shomolu, Lagos. He says a lot of things inspire him but his quest for personal amusememnt is topmost 'I love toi make myself happy because asides my job and my family, i really dont have amusing time so I create my own amusement by writing. Playing around with words, my language (yoruba), idioms and tunes gives me loads of joy'. He classes his music as Afro-Pop but fans say he is a jack of almost all genres, simply because sometimes you find him doing classic, soul, RnB and Rap is also one of the genres he does smoothly. His Management says his album is anticipated for someetimes in 2012 but for now enjoy Ibadi Aran; ladies love this flattery African Vibe.
